Leveraging the Law to Counter Antisemitism and Bias (CLE Eligible)

This session will explore the role of law in countering antisemitism, discrimination, and bias-motivated attacks against Jews and other religious minorities. The session with be moderated by Robert Katz, Professor of Law at Indiana University McKinney School of Law, who is writing a new legal casebook entitled Antisemitism and the Law with ADL support. He will facilitate the discussion and offer insights on the role the law plays in countering these forms of hate and addressing Jewish concerns more generally. Our panelists will focus on two examples, civil laws on zoning and criminal laws on doxing, and assess their role in protecting the Jewish community. Learn about new research on antisemitism and the law and how to use the law to fight antisemitism and bias in your community.
